Week of April 13th - April 17th (Lesson Content):
This week's main focus is on dribbling & ball-control skills.
What are we learning?
Task 1:
K-5 Grades: Home Item Fitness - Led by Coach Armstrong
Equipment: 1 household item - examples: a ball, a stuffed animal, pillow, sock ball, etc...
Directions: Follow along with the creative fitness activities in the video.
Task 2:
K-5 Grades: Cha Cha Slide Basketball
Equipment: 1 ball with bounce (basketball preferably) but any other bouncy ball would work too
Directions: Follow along with the creative moves in the video. At the end, you will have a chance to perform.
Task 3:
K-2 Grades: Physed School - Ball Skills
Equipment: 1 ball with bounce
Directions: Follow along with the challenges in the video.
3-5 Grades: The Super 7 - Basketballs
Equipment: 1 ball with bounce
Directions: Follow along with the challenges in the video.
Task 4:
K-5 Grades: 3-Point Shootout (Backdoor Basketball)
Equipment: 1 sockball, a box, tape
Directions: Follow along with the challenge in the video. How many will you score?
K-5 Grades: Hot Shot Challenge (Backdoor Basketball)
Equipment: 1 sockball, a box, tape, point signs
Directions: Follow along with the challenge in the video. How many will you score?
